This was a commercial sponsored by Downy Fabric Conditioner. The 

message was all about, even if you’re all day long exposing to sun or the 

whole day you are sweaty there’s no need to worry. There now a solution 

to your problem, the only you have to do is rub your clothes to bring back 

again the freshness. My family was been a loyal consumer of this product 

and I can testify that Downy really keep the smell of clothes all day long. 

What I just notice, the location is quite different the shooting was held on a 

public market and this product was endorsed by Ms. Kris Aquino. Downy 

had been already established its identity and brand image over the past 

year in the market. What makes this commercial talk of the town is when 

the lead endorser (Kris Aquino) shout this line “Amoy ulam nab a kayo?” 

Lets do the rub’ba daba ngo”…….This commercial songs become trends 

in which citizens become LSS (Last Song Syndrome), on the way the 

music was arranged. Most epic part of this commercial is when Kris 

Aquino started to dance and rub her shoulder.  Other laugh at it but that 

the other goal of this advertisement to make sure that this would be 

remembered by the community. And I think they did and reach their goals.
